Our Story

Samantha, the owner of Luxe & Lather Company, began her journey in a very different world—one of strict deadlines, legal briefs, and courtroom battles. She was a full time practicing lawyer, dedicated to serving clients and navigating the complexities of the law. But as rewarding as it was, the stress of the profession began to take a toll on her mental health. This was also after a five year active duty military career, where she proudly served and deployed with the United States Navy. Upon her being honorably discharged, she pursued her law degree and attended law school.

It was indeed a long and stressful road and she turned to crafting to put her mind at ease during her time off. She would come to realize she needed a more permanent career change—something that would bring her joy, ease, and a little bit of fun back into her life. 

That's when the idea sparked: What if she could create something that not only nurtured her own well-being but could also help others feel better too?

From that simple thought, Luxe & Lather was born. She started small, crafting fun colorful soap and other body care items that she knew could brighten a tough day. As her own mental health bloomed through this creative outlet, she realized how powerful joy and self-care could be when combined in the most intentional way.

What started as a personal escape from the grind of law has blossomed into a vibrant business that brings us—and our customers—so much joy. Today, we create a wide range of goodies designed to nourish the body and fill your homes. Whether you're personally indulging in our creations or sending them as a gift to someone in need of a little pick-me-up, we believe in the transformative power of fun, uplifting goodies!
